Food and Drinks Sector benefit from UCC Programmes

Since its inception in 1993, the Food Industry Training Unit (FITU) has developed and delivered continuing education and training programmes for the Food and Drinks sector.  FITU works in close partnership with the School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, Department of Management and Marketing, The Centre for Adult Continuing Education and the Department of Geography and the wider UCC community.
The programmes provided by FITU are typically part-time or short-term and include:

Many other short courses, workshops and lecture series are organised by FITU and these can be customised to target the specific needs of companies and organisations.

One of these short courses, the Cheese Science and Technology training course was held recently in UCC.
