Revision Course for Leaving Certificate Chemistry Students
The Department of Chemistry, UCC welcomes 120 6th Year Leaving
Certificate students to UCC on 1st and 2nd May 2007 on a specially
developed revision programme focussing on the practical aspects of the
Leaving Certificate Chemistry Course. Funded by UCC's Admissions Office
Special Initiatives Fund, the Revision Day is designed to cover key
aspects of the 28 mandatory experiments on the Leaving Certificate
syllabus.
Organised by Dr JJ Keating in the Department of Chemistry, the
programme has been heavily over-subscribed with students from
Crosshaven, Drumcollogher, Dunmanway, Fermoy, Passage West and
Rosscarbery, as well Cork City schools attending the course.
