Evening Law Degree (BCL) at UCC - Information Session



The Evening Law Degree at UCC is the longest running and most successful programme of its kind in Ireland. Another four-year cycle of the programme will commence in September 2007 (provided a sufficient number of students register).  Applications for the Evening BCL Degree (2007 - 2011) are now welcomed from those who have not yet had the opportunity to pursue third level education, as well as from graduates in other disciplines. Applicants must be aged 21 years as of 1sJanuary 2007. The course will be of interest to, amongst others, those who wish:

  • To enhance career prospects, whether in existing employment or a new career
  • To acquire an insight into the application of law to business, current affairs and society generally
  • To improve reasoning, communication and analytical skills.

The Faculty of Law will host an Evening BCL Degree Information Evening on Thursday, 1 March 2007 at 7pm in Boole 4 Lecture Theatre, University College Cork.

The closing date for receipt of completed Evening BCL application forms is 5pm on Thursday 22 March 2007.

Selection for the Evening BCL Degree will be made on the basis of the candidate's application form and assessment test. The assessment test will be held on Saturday 31 March 2007 at 11am in Kane G1 Lecture Theatre, University College Cork.
