Trade Ethics Consultant for UCC Leadership Programme



Trade Ethics Consultant, Dr Jennifer Hurley will present an intensive leadership programme at UCC on Tuesday, 13 February at 6pm.  Hosted by UCC's International Relations Society, the programme will focus on a range of leadership skills:

• The essence of effective leadership;
• Effective delivery of presentations;
• The ability to address large audiences without undue stress;
• Advancement of an argument in daunting environments;
• How to recover quickly when things go wrong.

Muireann Mangan, Auditor, International Relations Society explained "UCC is fortunate to host this prestigious leadership event.  More and more students now seek employment in international organizations. This programme aims to give students an understanding of the leadership skills required in today's dynamic international business and political environment."

Dr Hurley, who is based in London, has significant experience in working with young people to maximise potential and develop leadership, negotiation and presentation skills.  She has worked with numerous international corporations, voluntary groups and students.

The event, which is kindly sponsored by Ulster Bank, takes place on Tuesday, 13 February from 6-9 pm in Brookfield Health Sciences Complex, Room 122. Cost:  €10 (payable at door)
