University College Cork (UCC) launches DVD for second level students
UCC has launched a new DVD - Welcome to University College Cork.
Presented by UCC student, Ali Arnopp, the DVD will provide second level students
with information on programmes available and a flavour of campus life
at UCC.
The tour takes the viewer from Cork City centre to the Quadrangle
in the heart of the University, leading through the campus on a journey
of discovery from the magnificent Glucksman Gallery to the world-class
Mardyke Sports Arena.
Ali Arnopp, from Bandon, County Cork, is a Drama & Theatre
Studies student in UCC's College of Arts, Celtic Studies & Social
Science. She operates as a DJ on Campus Radio and is also a lead
singer with Lerner. On her experience in presenting the DVD, Ali said
"It was great working in front of the camera for the first time but the
truth is it's so easy to promote UCC! It's a great Campus with super
facilities and great academic standards - I love it here so I hope some
of that comes through on screen."
The 18 minute DVD was produced by WildAcre Productions, directed by
Declan O'Connell and filmed by award winning cameraman and film-maker,
Ed Godsell.
