UCC honours sports stars with scholarships
UCC has presented 65 students with sports scholarships with archery being recognised for the first time.
The UCC Sports Scholarship is a well-established scheme and in addition to financial support for students, it provides a number of backup supports for the recipients, such as access to a qualified exercise physiologist, and academic support, if required.
@UCCSport we launched our 2018/19 sports scholarships today. Certs presented by Deputy President John O Halloran @johbees. Poignant moment as family of the late Jason Foley presented an award to honour his memory - the spirit of sport. Congratulations to our 2018 leaders. pic.twitter.com/tvpIRFKN46
