EAA Strategic Framework Working Group on Higher Education. Peer Learning Activity on Micro-credentials.
The #MicroCredsIE Team were delighted to be involved in the Peer Learning Activity on #microcredentials held over the last two days which was organised in collaboration with European Commission and Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science
On Day One Dr Lynn Ramsey (Director of #MicroCredsIE) presented as part of a workshop on #microcredentials in Ireland alongside QQI and HEA. In her presentation Dr Lynn Ramsey gave an overview of #MicroCredsIE and shared some early insights from the project with our EU colleagues.
On Day Two we were joined by our #MicroCredsIE Project Leads Sorcha Mulcahy, Sarah Brady, Deirdre Harkin, Caitríona Nic Giolla Mhichíl, Janice Mulvany Glennon MA, Zsuzsanna Zarka, Ph.D and Mags Arnold who delivered a series of lightning talks highlighting their insights from embedding #microcredentials in their respective universities.
To finish Day Two of the PLA Dr Emma Francis (Project Officer for #MicroCredsIE) and Tony Donohoe (Chair of the #MicroCredsIE EAG group) presented a case study on engaging with enterprise to help shape #microcreds to meet skills gaps in society
