Growing Up in Ireland
.png)
On 26 February Dr. Eoin McNamara (Department of Children Equality Disability Integration and Youth) presented a workshop on the Growing Up In Ireland (GUI) study methodology and data set.
The workshop set out to promote and support the use of the GUI datasets from both Cohort ’98 (spanning ages 9-20yrs) and Cohort ’08 (9mths-13yrs). The workshop included a background to the study, an overview of what information the datasets include and what research questions can be explored using GUI, useful online resources, how to access the data yourself, and a practical walk-through of basic statistical analysis techniques using GUI data.
