Enabling Diverse Student Voice - report launch

On 10 January an event was held to mark the launch of the final report of the Enabling Diverse Student Voice research project, a joint project of Access UCC and ISS21. The event showcased UCC’s unique Access Student Ambassador Advisory Group initiative as an example of good practice in enabling diverse student voices to be heard in university structures.
The launch opened with presentations from Olive Byrne and James Bilson (Access UCC), followed by contributions from two Student Ambassadors - Nicole Marinos and Jessica O'Brien - on their experiences of being involved in the initiative.
Dr Stephen O’Brien and Dr Caitríona Ní Laoire shared some of the main project findings. In the second half of the event, Dr Claire Dorrity led an interactive workshop to explore key questions raised by the research.
Closing remarks were delivered by Professor Stephen Byrne, Deputy President and Registrar.
