ED3324: Inclusion: Policy and Practice in PE, Sport and Physical Activity

In this co-learning module, CDIP students and Sports Studies & Physical Education students learn how legislation can support people with a range of abilities from different groups to feel included in the context of sport, physical activity and physical education. Together they explore relevant policies and review how policy influences practice for people of all ability levels. 

This module is taught by id+ Project Fellow Dr Camelia Bran, supported by id+ Project Fellows Dr Joao Costa and Dr Diarmuid Lester of UCC’s School of Education.

ED3325 Disability: Pedagogical Approaches to PE, Sport and Physical Activity

In this co-learning module, CSC students and Sports Studies & Physical Education students learn how to teach physical education to children and young people of all abilities. Working together, learning with and from their peers in UCC’s Mardyke Arena, they explore, design and implement ways to support everyone in their lessons to enjoy being active for their health and wellbeing.
