Celebrating Graduates of the Postgraduate Certificate in Dairy Technology and Innovation
We were delighted to celebrate the latest graduates of the Postgraduate Certificate in Dairy Technology and Innovation at last week’s FITU conferring ceremony. Developed in 2016, the programme has now supported over 100 professionals in advancing their careers in the dairy sector.
Developed in collaboration with Teagasc, graduates of the Postgraduate Certificate now stand at the forefront of innovation in dairy science and technology, equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to drive progress across the industry. Many may choose to continue their academic and professional development through the broader stackable pathway, progressing to the Postgraduate Diploma or the Work-Based Master’s in Dairy Technology and Innovation.
Warm congratulations to all graduates on this significant achievement. Their success not only reflects personal dedication but also marks an exciting step forward for the dairy sector’s future talent and innovation capacity.
A special word of thanks to Professor Sarah Culloty, Head of the College of SEFS, and Professor Alan Kelly, Head of School of Food and Nutritional Sciences, for presenting the graduates with their certificates at the ceremony.
Finally, a special mention to Una Martin, Programme Manager, and Professor Paul McSweeney, Academic Director, whose leadership and commitment continue to play a central role in the ongoing success and impact of the programme.
