This audio-visual installation with durational performance re-imagines folk tales about Animal-Women whose magical skins are lost, stolen or destroyed. Mourning the lost power of transformation and protection of animal-skins, this installation haunts the Granary theatre building with fragments from the Little Mermaid, She-Wolf, the Dove-Girl , Swan Woman, Seal Woman installed in the main spaces of the theatre and studio as well as in the overlooked and unsuspected nooks and crannies of the building. This work is part of a practice inclusive PhD project.
Granary Theatre auditorium is fully accessible, but upstairs spaces are currently not accessible. Not recommended for children.
