ClimAtt is funded by the Irish Environmental Protection Agency under Gran Award  No. 2016-W-MS-23. It also provides expert advice, guidance and assistance for the successful completion of the project.

The project team is allocated in the Environmental Research Institute and the main campus of the University College Cork. The project team is highly experienced and multi-disciplinary, with experience in climatology, climate change impacts and micrometeorology.

The Environmental Change Institute of the University of Oxford is a world-leading in climate change attribution studies. It is the only institution in the world with the capability of delivering multi-thousand member ensembles to quantify the human influence in extreme weather events. They do this through the unique weather@home volunteer computing project.
