Nursing
The objective of teaching to Year 1 nursing students is to provide them with a fundamental understanding of the anatomical organisation of the body. The module content consists of regional and topographical anatomy of the limbs, trunk, head and neck and anatomy of major systems (cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, nervous system, urinary, genital & endocrine).
Anatomy Modules for Nursing Students
The Anatomy Department presents the following modules to Nursing Students:
- AN1010 Anatomy. To provide students with a fundamental understanding of the anatomical organisation of the body.
and also contributes to the following modules
- NU2043 Nursing Individuals with a Specific Intellectual Disability I
- NU2037 Studies in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing I: Psychosocial and Biological Approaches
