Clinical Therapies
Clinical Therapies
Clinical Therapies
UCC has established two separate four year honours degree programmes which commenced in October 2003, one in Speech and Language Therapy and the other in Occupational Therapy. These programmes were established in the new School of Clinical Therapies within the Faculty of Medicine and Health.
Students take modules in anatomy in the first, second and third years of the programme. The objectives of the courses are to provide students with a detailed understanding of structural biology, embryology and neuroanatomy relevant to speech and language therapy and occupational therapy. Lectures in anatomy are supported by suitably designed practicals to help consolidate students’ theoretical knowledge.
Further Information:
For further information about these courses please visit the Speech and Language or Occupational Therapies websites and the College Calendar. Module descriptions can be viewed in the Book of Modules
