12 Nov 2019In a ground-breaking article recently published in Science Prof. Cryan along with postdoctoral fellow Eoin Sherwin, Prof Ted Dinan from Psychiatry, John Quinn from School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences and Seth Bordenstein from Vanderbilt University highlight the relationship between the microbiome and social behaviour across the lifespan.

Prof Cryan Delivers Cambridge Neuroscience Public Lecture at Cambridge University
29 May 2019Speaking to a capacity audience Professor Cryan delivered The Cambridge Neuroscience Public Lecture; 'A gut feeling about the brain: microbiome as a key regulator of neurodevelopment and behaviour'. In his lecture Prof Cryan explored the interaction between the brain, gut and microbiome, and how this relationship applies to stress- and immune-related disorders such as depression, anxiety, irritable bowel syndrome, obesity, and neurodevelopmental disorders including autism. -
