Sports Studies and Physical Education
A new module was created in 2006 to convey Anatomy teaching to students registered in the new B.Ed. Sports Studies programme in UCC.
This module provides students with a strong basis in systemic anatomy, linking structure and function of the major body systems.In addition, students are taught topographical anatomy of the limbs and the trunk, emphasizing the link between structure, movement and posture.
