Climate Action Week 2025 at UCC Inspires Environmental Engagement

Climate Action Week at UCC, held from the 13th to the 16th of October, was a great success, bringing together students from all backgrounds to take meaningful action for the environment and reconnect with nature. The week served as a reminder that we are part of a larger ecosystem, deeply dependent on natural processes, and that collective action can make a real difference.
A heartfelt thank you from UCC Green Campus goes to all the societies, clubs, and An Taisce who collaborated to make the week such a success.
Events throughout the week included a Botanical Painting Workshop, Rope Upcycling Workshop, Eco-Performance Open Mic, An Taisce’s “Think Before You Flush” outreach stand, a System Change Workshop exploring ways to drive environmental action, Meat-Free Monday with KSG in the Main Restaurant, a Bike Repair Workshop, Autumnal Foraging, and many more society-led activities.
Here is a selection of photos capturing the energy and creativity of Climate Action Week 2025 at UCC.
