17 EV Charging Points Across the University Estate
Over the past year, the Buildings & Estates team has been upgrading the existing EV charging stations, improving charging speeds where possible, and installing new stations across the campus to support the growing number of EV users.
We are delighted to announce that 17 EV charging points are now available across the University estate. (EV charging locations).
Following a competitive tender process, EasyGo was selected to supply the charging equipment and to manage the EV charging service for UCC.
With the EasyGo app, you can now locate a charging station, check availability in real-time, and manage your charging session directly from your phone. (www.easygo.ie)
The current charging rates are:
Connection fee: €0.27 per charging session
Usage: €0.35 per kWh
Overstay fee: €2 per hour, which applies 1 hour after the charging session has ended.
