MOU Ceremony in Coláiste na Rinne
Tá síneadh cúig bliana curtha lena Meamram Comhthuisceana ag Coláiste na hOllscoile Corcaigh agus Coláiste na Rinne. Tá an Meamram seo tar éis bonn a chur fé imeachtaí mac léinn UCC i nGaeltacht na nDéise le tamall de bhlianta, fochéimithe, iarchéimithe agus mic léinn idirnáisiúnta.
UCC and Coláiste na Rinne have extended their Memorandum of Understanding for a further five years. This MOU has supported extensive student activity in Gaeltacht na nDéise for undergraduates, postgraduates and visiting students of UCC. Pictured at the signing event on the 5th of February were the signatories (l-r): Aonghus Ó hEocha (Cathaoirleach, Bord Stiúrtha Choláiste na Rinne), Críostóir Ó Faoláin (Bainisteoir), Prof. Stephen Byrne (Deputy President and Registrar, UCC) and Prof. Pádraig Ó Macháin (Professor of Modern Irish). Other UCC representatives in attendance were Dr Síle Ní Mhurchú, Dr Caitríona Ní Churtáin and Dr Máire Ní Iceadha (Dept. of Modern Irish), Dr Caitríona Breathnach (Ionad na Gaeilge Labhartha) and Dr Ciarán Ó Gealbháin (Dept of Folklore).
