First id+ Project Graduates

The first 15 students from UCC’s two new programmes for students with intellectual disabilities graduated with flying colours recently. The Certificate in Social Citizenship and the Certificate in Disability-Inclusive Practice were launched in 2022 as part of the id+ Project, sponsored by the Deputy President and Registrar Prof. Stephen Byrne. As part of their course, the students joined degree students in a wide range of modules across all four Colleges, representing a breakthrough for meaningfully inclusive education in the Irish higher education landscape. Congratulations to them all!
