Quercus Scholars Honour Frederick Douglass

In honour of DouglassWeek, which commemorates abolistionist Frederick Douglass' tour of Ireland between 1845-46, Quercus Scholars, Alana Daly Mulligan & Nyala Grunwald, interviewed two cast members from the musical Hamilton. 

Alana, an Active Citizenship Scholar, and Nyala, a Creative & Performing Arts' Scholar, conversed with Paul Stoval & Nikhil Saboo about the legacy of the fearless civil rights activist. 

The podcast, 'The Greatest American of the Nineteeth Century', is only one part of a week of commemorative events taking place across Cork City and County between February 8th-14th, 2021.
