Paul and Fintan win Gold at Rowing World Championships in Serbia & Qualify Boat for Paris '24

Congratulations to Quercus alum, Paul O'Donovan, and his partner in the Lightweight Men's Double Sculls, Fintan McCarthy, on their Gold medal at the Rowing World Championships in Serbia. 

The Swiss and Italian boats tried their best to out row Paul and Fintan but in the end they won in a comfortable time of 06:32:09.

Paul and Fintan also succeeded in qualifying their boat for the Paris Olympics. This was one of seven qualifying spots successfully secured by the Irish over the weekend, including a spot at the Paralympics. Great job Paul, Fintan and the rest of the Irish team!!!
