Mary FitzGerald Wins Bronze at Europeans

Quercus Sports' Scholar, Mary FitzGerald, has won a bronze medal in the shot put for Ireland at the Para Athletics European Championships in Bydgoszcz. Mary's final throw of 7.35m clinched her the podium position.

Mary, a native of Kilkenny and studying Occupational Therapy, is also accomplished at discus and javelin. She is strong in mind, body and spirit and Quercus is honoured to have Mary as one of our scholars.
