Gala for Quercus Scholars 2020/21

As with most things during the Covid-19 era Quercus has had to move the annual gala online. The gala normally consists of a four course sit down dinner in the Aula Maxima where the students will receive their silver acorn pin as a symbol of their entry to the Quercus family. The Creative & Performing Arts' Scholars always close out the night on a high when they delight attendees with a fifteen minute performance.

This year the Gala took part on April 1st and though everybody could not be together in person it was none-the-less a special night. Each new Quercus scholar was introduced and virtually presented with their silver acorn pin by Interim President, Prof. John O'Halloran.

All three new Quercus Creative & Performing Arts' Scholars, Jennifer Barry, Nyala Grunwald & Síofra Thornton, performed on the night. If you wish to watch the Gala click here.

We would like to extend the warmest welcome to the 20/21 Quercus Scholars.
