Donnchadh wins Seán Ó Riada Compostion Competition

Congratulations to Quercus Creative & Performing Arts Scholar, Donnchadh Mac Aodha, who won the Seán Ó Ríada Compostition Competition at the Cork Choral Festival.

Donnchadh won the award with his piece of music 'Babel'. A piece the judges found captivating, with a distinct musical identity. 

Donnchadh, who plays the tin-whistle, flute, harp and piano, studies Music and Irish in UCC and here is a link to a piece about him in the Examiner.
