Australian Ambassador to Ireland gives Quercus Lecture 2023

We were honoured to have the Australian Ambassador to Ireland, The Hon Gary Gray AO, to give our annual Quercus Lecture for 2023.

Boole 1 was filled with Quercus Talented Students' Programme Scholars, Quercus Entrance Scholars, Quercus College Scholars, and multiple UCC staff. UCC President, Professor John O'Halloran, introduced the Ambassador and welcomed him to speak.

The Ambassador gave a fascinating talk on Australian policy is Asia-Pacific. His talk was both interesting and relatable and he had the room laughing on more than one occasion!

Quercus Active Citizenship Scholar, Emer Neville, thanked the Ambassador at the end of his talk and presented him with a copy of the Coastal Atlas of Ireland on behalf of all of the scholars.
