Dr Danko Stamenic

Danko is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Public Health in UCC. He is currently involved on the EPICC project (Evidence for Policies to Prevent Chronic Conditions) as a biostatistician conducting epidemiological analyses.

Danko completed his PhD in 2018 with his research mainly focusing on the development of individualized predictions of graft failure risk in kidney transplant recipients and the analysis of longitudinal and time-to-event data in these settings. He was a part of IPPRIT research unit (Individualized Profiling and Prevention of Risks with Immunosuppressive Treatment and Transplantation) over four years.

In 2014, Danko was awarded an International French Government Scholarship for Master 2 studies. He also holds a Master degree in Pharmacokinetics and a M.Sc in Pharmacy. His current research interests include risk assessment associated with chronic conditions and comorbidities, patients’ adherence with prescribed medication and econometrics.
