6 Feb 2026

Highlighting the diverse range of programmes available.

UCC’s Postgraduate Expo 2026, held recently in Devere Hall, provided a valuable opportunity for prospective students to explore the breadth of postgraduate study on offer across the University.

Throughout the afternoon, attendees met with academic and professional staff who shared insights into UCC’s postgraduate pathways, discussed course content and career outcomes, offering first-hand perspectives on academic life, research opportunities and career progression.

The School of Public Health’s postgraduate programmes are designed to equip graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to address complex population health challenges, respond to evolving healthcare needs and make a meaningful impact across public health, occupational health, policy, research and practice. The Expo highlighted the relevance, flexibility and career-focused nature of these programmes, attracting strong interest from prospective students at various stages of their professional journey.

A special thank you to Professor Ali Khashan, Dr Caleb Leduc and Dr Mallorie Leduc, who staffed the School of Public Health stand throughout the afternoon and generously took the time to answer the many and varied queries from prospective students about our postgraduate programmes. Their expertise and enthusiasm were invaluable in helping attendees understand the scope, structure and career impact of undertaking postgraduate study.
