9 Month, Fixed-Term, Whole-Time Post Salary: €30,025 - €39,908 p.a. (IUA Salary Scale) Project: Translating the tailoring process to improve the implementation of diabetes care. Position Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and organised Research Assistant with strong communication skills to join the Health Implementation Research Hub at the School of Public Health in UCC. You will be responsible for carrying out knowledge translation activities to support the CUSTOMISE project under the direction of Dr Sheena McHugh. About the project In the CUSTOMISE project we are working with health professionals to design or select implementation strategies to support the delivery of effective interventions in the health service, taking into account their local circumstances. This process is known as tailoring implementation strategies. We are undertaking a series of activities to increase the translation of findings from this research project into policy and practice. This work is funded by a Health Research Board Knowledge Translation Award.

Position Summary
We are recruiting an enthusiastic Post-Doctoral Researcher / Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher to join our research team investigating the implementation of evidence-based interventions in healthcare settings.
About the project
The successful candidate will join the CUSTOMISE project (Comparing and Understanding Tailoring Methods for Implementation Strategies in Healthcare). CUSTOMISE is a large program of work investigating the process and impact of tailoring implementation strategies, the practice of adjusting strategies to suit local circumstances to enhance the likelihood of success. The research is funded by the Health Research Board Research Leader Award led by Dr Sheena McHugh at the School of Public Health.
