IGNITE Startup Founders Listed in the top 30 under 30 in Irish Tech

Richard Barrett, co-founder of PunditArena and Conor Lyden, founder of Trustap both listed in the Sunday Business Post's Top 30 Under 30 in Irish Tech. 

The initiative led by 'Connected' (Emmet Ryan) which is the Sunday Business Post's monthly guide to techology in business. Connected have been highlighting young talent in Irish Tech for four years showcasing how individuals/duos use tech or influence in some way. 

Two IGNITE Alumni were listed among the 30 leaders:

Conor Lyden, founder of Trustap

Trustap a transaction platform that acts as a safety net for customers when they want to buy or sell online.

Conor completed IGNITE in 2017 and in the same year, he was awarded the prize of Best Startup in Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur Regional Finals and was a finalist in the National awards.

Pundit Arena is a sports media platform that empowers fans to become paid journalists. It is one of Europe’s fastest growing sports media websites. In 2016, the company received a €650,000 investment which enabled them to grow their team and expand their services. They currently have 460-plus writers, publishes 1,000 articles per month, and reaches eight million people per week on social media. 

To highlight some achievements, in 2017 Richard Barrett, co-founder of Pundit Arena with Ross O’Dwyer, were presented with the Best Promotion of Business On-Line Google Award at the National Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur Finals and selected as a finalist in Cork Chamber's emerging category of the Cork Company of the Year Awards.

Richard and Ross completed IGNITE in 2014. 

It is fantastic to see both entrepreneurs being recognised for their dedication and impact within the tech industry.
