Professor Chris Lynch, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Dentistry
Congratulations to Professor Chris Lynch, Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Dentistry on the Journal’s success in the recent Impact Factor rankings which were released in June 2026.
The new Impact Factor for Journal of Dentistry has increased to 5.8, up from 5.5 last year.
The Journal of Dentistry is ranked 10th out of 165 journals on an international level; this means the Journal of Dentistry is in the top 6% of dental journals internationally when ranked by Impact Factor.
Professor Lynch has served as Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Dentistry since 2011. The Journal is one of the leading international scientific dental journals. In 2025, just over 4,000 new manuscripts were submitted to the Journal from authors and researchers all over the world.
