CUDSH researchers attend the 18th Congress of the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry

Members of the UCC Paediatric Dental team attended the recent Congress of the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry held in Liverpool from 1-4 July. 

Dr Al-Marhubi presented work from her Masters research project exploring the oral health of children and young people with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (Abstract #420).

Her interdisciplinary work was supervised by Dr Siobhán Lucey, Consultant/Senior Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry, Professor Mairead Harding, UCC Oral Health Services Research Centre, and Professor Colin Hawkes, Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist, Cork University Hospital.
