From Top of the Class to Returning Home: A UCC Dentistry Star's Journey

We are delighted to congratulate Dr. Martha Anne Woods, a recent Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) graduate, on an extraordinary double achievement. 

1. Winning the Prestigious Dr HH Stewart Medical Prize in Dentistry from the National University of Ireland. This award is given annually to the top BDS graduate across all NUI institutions and affiliates worldwide – making it one of the highest academic honours in the field.

2. Returning to UCC's Dental School and Hospital as a Junior House Officer in Oral Surgery & Oral Medicine.Dr Woods'
