CUDSH Students and Staff at the 44th Annual Echo Women's Mini-Marathon

44th Annual Echo Women's Mini-Marathon
Sunday September 21st saw students from BDS I to BDS 5, along with staff and friends lined out and run/walk to Women’s Mini-Marathon.
This year students past and present and staff ran/walked the course to raise awareness of oral health.
It is frequently overlooked that symptoms of general health conditions are visible and often diagnosed from symptoms in the mouth. Or that general health conditions and medication can have a devastating impact on the mouth, teeth, gums.
The students ran wearing t-shirts provided by the Dental Health Foundation (DHF) Charity, a dynamic and vital organisation, at the forefront of improving oral health in Ireland, through advocacy and oral health promotion.
A huge thanks to all who ran/walked the mini-marathon and contributed sponsorship to the DHF.
