COVID-19 is still present in our community and can cause serious illness. At Cork Dental School & Hospitlal we are continuing to do all we can to avoid transmission of COVID-19 during your visit. Please help us in the following ways -

Do not attend the hospital if you have COVID-19, or any symptoms that could be COVID-19.

If you have a condition that makes COVID-19 infection a particular risk for you, please make sure that you tell this to the dentist who is responsible for your care. We are very grateful for your co-operation.

Doctorate in Clinicial Dentistry (Orthodontics)

The Cork University Dental School and Hospital welcomes four new students to the DClinDent (Orthodontics) programme.

his is a full-time 36 month course comprising of theoretical, laboratory, clinical and research components. The student is required to accumulate 270 credits, undertake a research project and submit a thesis for the degree. The programme is approved by the Irish Committee for Specialist Training in Dentistry and meets the educational requirements for the Membership/Fellowship in Orthodontics examinations of the Royal Colleges.
