Staff and researchers presented on a wide range of topics.

Invited speakers and researchers from Cork University Dental School and Hospital showcased a range of thought provoking research at the recent College of Medicine and Health Research and Innovation Conference - Advancing Health, Translating Discovery to Care.

Julia Banasiak, presented her poster, entitled "Current Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) practices in oral health research: a scoping review protocol".

Siofra Murphy, presented her poster entitled "Patient behaviour during conscious sedation with midazolam; an analysis of the gut and oral microbiome.

Dr Danielle McGeown, presented her poster entitled "Real Time Measurement of Bioaerosols in an Irish Community Dental Clinic".

Invited speaker Prof. Finbarr Allen provided a thought-provoking presentation on the relationship between oral health and systemic health and research students were delighted with the opportunity to present their research.
