Congratulations to Dr Claire Curtin on successfully defending her PhD thesis

Congratulations to Dr Claire Curtin, Specialist in Special Care Dentistry, who successfully defended her PhD thesis today.

Claire’s research, entitled “Oral Health Status and Care Provision in Dependent Older Adults: A Mixed-Methods Study in an Irish Setting”, was supervised by Professor Martina Hayes, Dr Frank Burke and Professor Gerry McKenna.

Her examiners were Dr Cristiane Da Mata (UCC), Professor Georgios Tsakos (University College London) and Professor Paul Brocklehurst (Public Health Wales).
