Student Joey Donovan wins Costello Medal 2013

Joey Donovan a 4th Year Dental Student was awarded the Costello Medal for 2013.

Joey Donovan (BDS 4) recently won the Costello Medal at the IDA conference held in Galway.  This prestigious prize is awarded for the best presentation by a student at the annual IDA conference.  His research focussed on the importance of surface characteristics of ceramics in clinical practice.  The work was undertaken in the Dental School under the guidance of Dr. Antonis Theocharapoulos, and congratulations to Antonis for his input into the work.
