CUBS Learning & Teaching Showcase Celebrates Innovation and Excellence
From AI-driven classrooms to sustainability initiatives, the Learning & Teaching Showcase highlighted diverse teaching practices and outstanding achievements.
The CUBS Learning & Teaching Showcase was a wonderful celebration of the innovative and inspiring work happening across our college. Staff and students came together to present a diverse range of posters, showcasing the many different approaches to teaching and learning across CUBS.
This year's staff posters reflected the breadth and ambition of teaching practice at CUBS. Contributions spanned a wide range of themes, from real-world and industry-engaged learning, including collaborations with An Garda Síochána and a live corporate finance simulation, to the use of AI in the classroom, integrated cross-module assessment, and inclusive design. Sustainability and ethics also featured strongly, with posters exploring everything from environmental role play to locally sourced food entrepreneurship.
Four student posters demonstrated the quality and creativity of student work at CUBS. Topics ranged from exploring the real-world challenges of sustainable behaviour change, to developing a market recovery strategy for Aer Lingus in a case consulting competition, investigating Irish consumers' attitudes towards Revolut mortgages, and launching a new food venture, Wild Irish Seaweed Crackers, complete with branding, market research, and financial planning.
Helen McGrath said, “It was wonderful to see both students and staff come together to share such inspiring and innovative work. Congratulations to all of our very well-deserved award recipients.”
The event was brought to a close with the Learning & Teaching Awards, recognising colleagues who have made a real difference to the student experience at CUBS. Congratulations to our five award winners:
