Childrens Chinese Class

                                             

6—10 years old beginner course

By joining this course, children in the age 6 to 10 years old could be  able to pass the HSK1 (Level I). By the end of this course, students will understand and use very simple Chinese phrases, meet basic needs for communication and possess the ability to further their Chinese language studies.

Start Date:      8th September 2018 (10 weeks)

Time:             1-3pm

Venue:           to be notified later

Cost:              €100 for external applicants; € 80 for UCC staff/registered student.

Please note this course is subject to a minimum number of 5 and please submit the application form one week before the course starts.

6—10 years old intermediate course

By joining this course, children in the age 6 to 10 years old could be able to pass the HSK 2 (Level II) and will have an excellent grasp of basic Chinese and can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.

 

Start Date:      8th September 2018 (10 weeks)

Time:             1-3pm

Venue:           to be notified later

Cost:              €100 for external applicants; € 80 for UCC staff/registered student.

12—16years old beginner course

Start Date:     8th September 2018 (10 weeks)

Time:             1-3pm

This course will help prepare students for HSK levels 1&2 and give participants a solid foundation for Chinese should they choose to pursue it as a leaving certificate subject (to be added the curriculum in 2020)
