David Latten Social Impact Award: Empowering Emerging Female Leaders

The David Latten Social Impact Award was established with the support of the Logitech Cares Fund, a philanthropic initiative by the Tides Foundation.
Named in honor of David Latten, former Head of Global Indirect Procurement and Supplier Diversity at Logitech, the award celebrates his legacy as a change-maker in supply chain management and a passionate advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) and recognises emerging female leaders who have the potential to revolutionise traditional value chains.
Congratulations to this year's winners: Erika Slattery (School of Microbiology, UCC), Jacqueline Osei (School of Microbiology) and Rosie Deasy (School of Chemistry, UCC).
The award aims to inspire women to pursue postgraduate studies while actively working in their field. By doing so, it encourages them to enhance their competitiveness for leadership roles in Supply Chain Management. Applicants are encouraged to examine their work and research through an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion lens, seeking ways to drive impact and create positive change within their current roles.
Thank you to Logitech for their generous support of UCC students, and championing diversity, equity, and inclusion in supply chain management. Special thanks to the family of David Latten for attending the awards ceremony.
