Have you returned your HR documentation?

 

  • Contract of Employment
  • Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme form
  • Staff Records Form
  • Direct Pay Form
  • Disability Form
  • Pension Related Deduction Employment Declaration
  • Verification of Qualifications Form
  • Please email copy of Birth Certificate
  • Please complete pre-employment medical assessment questionnaire online (link available on contract)
  • Sign Sheet – receipt of Key University Policies
  • Garda Vetting (if applicable)
  • Research Integrity Form( For Research and Academic Staff)

Relevant documents will be detailed on your contract. Your  completed documentation should be emailed to contracts@ucc.ie for academic and support staff. 

Research staff should return completed documentation to their post administrator.

Have you had a tour of the school or unit and met the key contacts in your area?

  • Has your manager advised you of “local procedures” regarding working hours, holidays and sick leave?
  • Has the safety Statement been brought to your attention along with applicable Risk Assessments?

Emergency Procedures

  • Have you familiarised yourself with the emergency response procedures in your area and the University in general? Do you know where your assembly point is, contact a first aider and raise the alarm if needed?
  • Do you wish to include your mobile number on a staff database as part of UCC Emergency Plan Staff Texting Service?
