Dr Su-Ming Khoo

Prof. Pádraig Carmody is Professor in Geography at Trinity College, the University of Dublin where he did his undergraduate and masters work and is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg. Prof. Carmody will talk about his new book on ‘Development Theory & Practice in a Changing World’.

Dr. Su-Ming Khoo is a Senior Lecturer in Political Science and Sociology, and leads the Environment, Development and Sustainability (Whitaker Institute) and Socio-Economic Impact (Ryan Institute) Research Clusters at NUI Galway. Dr Khoo will discuss ‘decolonizing development theory, education and practice’.
