Banter in the Aula!

This was a key public event of UCC's Community week, Professor Maggie O'Neill was one of the panel who joined Jim Carroll of RTE Brainstorm hosted a public roundtable discussion onDepartment  inclusive communities.

The Aula Maxima, UCC, was the venue for the 'Banter in the Aula'. The panel included President of UCC, Professor Patrick O'Shea; Professor Maggie O'Neill, Head of Department of Sociology and Criminology; Professor Fiona Kearney, Director of The Glucksman Gallery, UCC; Dr. Amanullah De Sondy, Senior Lecturer in Contemporary Islam, UCC and Ciara Beth Ní Ghriofa, UCC Quercus Scholar. It was part of the RTE Brainstorm and was hosted by Jim Carroll. They discussed equality, diversity and inclusion in our communities
