Industry Research Collaboration of the Year

This award recognises an outstanding research collaboration between University College Cork and an industry partner (or partners). It celebrates excellence in co‑created research, knowledge exchange, innovation impact, and the strategic value of a sustained, high‑quality partnership that advances UCC’s research mission and delivers tangible benefits to industry and/or society.  An identifiable outcome/output of the programme needs to have occurred in 2025

This category is distinct from Licence of the Year, which recognises IP commercialisation outcomes; this award instead focuses on the research collaboration itself, the quality of partnership, and the impact of joint research activity.

Note: The industry partner must give their permission and approval for this nomination.
