Vice-President for Research & Innovation Award for Interdisciplinary Research
UCC values research that crosses disciplinary boundaries and operates at the interface between the University and society. Taking an interdisciplinary approach to research is critical to solving problems, including many problems with societal impact, and whose solutions are beyond the scope of a single disciplinary area. Celebrated by the Vice President for Research & Innovation, this award recognises and honours UCC researchers and/or research teams that undertake exceptional interdisciplinary research at the frontiers of curiosity and inquiry, in the calendar year 2022. Nominations can be made by any UCC staff member.
