2nd place at the Student Research Conference

Three School of Microbiology students win 2nd place at the Student Research Conference
UCC Medical Research and Technology Society organises this annual event to showcase research projects in these areas.
Jone Martinez, June Naravaite and Conor Shanahan presented their poster entitled “Research on antibiotic-producing bacteria in Irish soil” at this years's conference. Dr John O’Callaghan, Chief Technical Officer, mentored the group.
