Digital Content Specialist | Internship Programme

The Inclusive UCC project in partnership with the College of Business and Law is looking to recruit four full time summer interns as part of the Inclusive College Project. Part of the project includes the rollout of Ally, a tool to help us identify and fix accessibility issues in online learning materials. Our interns will be working with us to provide targeted support. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about digital accessibility and universal design, work with our team at Inclusive UCC, and help make a change for the better for all students.

We want to employ four interns with excellent IT skills to work closely with Academic and Professional Services staff across the University to assist with the review and upgrading of digital learning materials to ensure they are accessible to UCC's diverse student population.

We are looking for people who are empathetic and sensitive to the difficulties faced by a wide range of users, not just those with visible disabilities.

We welcome applications from students from all backgrounds and fields of study to join our diverse team. We’re particularly interested in students who think outside the box, enjoy solving problems and deem themselves to be excellent communicators.

Successful candidates will gain a range of transferable skills as well as a valuable insight into digital inclusion and universal design.
