Rear Admiral Mark Mellett launches the new MSc in Applied Coastal and Marine Management

Rear Admiral Mark Mellett (former Flag Officer Commanding, Naval Service, and currently Deputy Chief of Staff in the Irish Defence Forces) officially launched the new MSc in Applied Coastal and Marine Management (University College Cork, Ireland). Admiral Mark Mellett gave a very interesting and inspiring lecture titled "The significance of the maritime zone to Ireland: the role of the Naval Service in maritime governance and Marine Spatial Planning". A video recording of his lecture will soon be uploaded to the GEOCOAST YouTube channel.
